About Koblizek Siamese

Lois with Mouffereau
We retired from Oregon to Northern Wisconsin eight years ago and brought our cats with us. We built our house on five secluded acres with 800 feet of lake frontage. I am a retired Nurse and my medical background has been extremely helpful in the care of our cats.

We started showing Siamese - our only love - in 1982. We had purchased a seal point female kitten from a breeder who considered her pet quality. However, she gave me breeding rights. Being a complete novice with no concept of the Siamese standard, I thought she was beautiful. When she was an adult I asked the breeder if I could show her. As the president of her cat club and in need of entries, she encouraged me to bring her. When we arrived at the show the breeder asked where I had gotten THAT cat. I answered her it was her cat. The look on her face spoke volumes. The ugly duckling had become a swan. She went on to her Grand Championship and made 3rd best seal point in the nation in the American Cat Fanciers' Association. She championed in the Cat Fanciers' Association. My first cat - Suci of Koblizek - I was hooked and 20 years later I still have her lines.

Our primary goals are to breed healthy cats with loving temperaments and beautiful conformation. Visitors are welcomed into our cattery and encouraged to handle and play with our cats. We have a Cattery of Excellence that more than meets the standard. All of our cats sleep on their own heating pads. Our cattery is cleaned and disinfected daily. Please feel free to visit.
