BUYER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS OF THIS SALE: This kitten/cat is being sold as a pet for the sum of $
This kitten/cat will be kept indoors and not be declawed. If declawed, all guarantees are null and void.
A female will be spayed between 6-8 months and a male neutered between 5-6 months of age. Upon receipt of a veterinarian’s bill showing that the kitten/cat has been spayed or castrated, seller agrees to provide ACFA or CFA litter registration form for the kitten/cat to be register. Buyer assures and guarantees that this kitten/cat will not be used for breeding or stud.
HEALTH GUARANTEE: This kitten/cat is guaranteed healthy upon pick-up/arrival and for a period of 3 days. The kitten/cat is to be isolated during this time from other animals in the household. The buyer has 3 days to have the kitten/cat veterinarian checked for health and tested for FeLV and FIV. If the kitten/cat has not been tested before delivery, the buyer has 3 days to have the kitten/cat veterinarian checked for health and tested for FeLV and FIV. You may at your expense request that my veterinarian do the health check and tests before delivery. ALL GUARANTEES VOIDED if: · You fail to have the kitten/cat vet checked and tested. · You have the kitten vaccinated for FeLV or FIP or vaccinate with Rabies vaccine other than Merial Purevac. · You permit the kitten to receive vaccine at the time of surgery or get a Rabies vaccine with another vaccine.
If the veterinarian finds an untreatable or life-threatening problem, I must be notified within the 3 day guarantee period and the kitten returned to me within 10 days for replacement of another kitten/cat of equal value. The kitten/cat must be isolated from other animals during this time. If no replacement is available at the time of return, I will have up to one year to furnish a comparable kitten/cat or I reserve the right to provide a cash refund of not more than the amount stated in paragraph 1 of this agreement. If the buyer does not return the kitten/cat in the specified time, then there will be no compensation and all guarantees will be null and void.
If the veterinarian finds signs of illness, the buyer agrees to call me and to follow diligently the veterinarian’s instructions. If the kitten/cat dies from this illness while under veterinarian care, the veterinarian must certifies that the cause of death was present when the kitten/cat was delivered for compensation as stated above.
I will not be responsible for any veterinary bills for this kitten/cat after leaving my residence.
GENETIC GUARANTEE: This kitten/cat is guaranteed for 1 year against congenital defects except a tail fault or protruding sternum. If the kitten/cat has a congenital defect, a veterinarian must document the defect and you may return the kitten/cat within 10 days for replacement of another kitten/cat of equal value provided. If no replacement is available at the time of return, I will have up to one year to furnish a comparable kitten/cat or provide a cash refund of not more than the amount stated in paragraph 1 of this agreement. If the buyer does not return the kitten/cat in the specified time, then there will be no compensation and all guarantees will be null and void.
If the kitten/cat dies as a result of a congenital defect, a veterinarian must do a necropsy to determine the cause of death. I will replace the kitten/cat with one of equal quality as available or I reserve the right to give a cash refund of not more than amount stated in paragraph 1 of this agreement. I will not be responsible for any veterinarian bills.
Any legal action which may arise under the terms of this contract will be brought in Price County, Wisconsin. Buyer shall be liable for any court costs and related charges including attorney’s fees associated with Seller enforcing the terms of this contract. This agreement is the entire agreement between the parties.
Buyer’s signature indicates full understanding and agreement to all the above terms and conditions.
