BUYER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS OF THIS SALE:
1. This kitten/cat is being sold as pet quality for the sum of $
2. This kitten/cat will be kept indoors and not be declawed. If declawed, all guarantees are null and void.
3. A female will be spayed between 6-8 months and a male neutered between 5-6 months of age. Upon receipt of a veterinarian's bill showing that the kitten has been spayed or castrated, seller agrees to provide a litter registration form for the kitten to be registered. Buyer assures and guarantees that this kitten will not be used for breeding or stud.
4. HEALTH GUARANTEE: This kitten/cat is guaranteed healthy upon pick-up/arrival and for a period of 3 days. The kitten/cat is to be isolated during this time from other animals in the household. The buyer has 3 days to have the kitten/cat veterinarian checked for health and tested for FeLV and FIV if the kitten/cat has not been tested before delivery. Failure to have the kitten/cat veterinarian checked and tested null and voids the health guarantee or having the kitten/cat vaccinated for FeLV or FIP voids all guarantees.
If the veterinarian finds an untreatable or life-threatening problem, I must be notified within the 3 day guarantee period and the kitten returned to me within 10 days for replacement of another kitten/cat of equal value. The kitten/cat must be isolated from other animals during this time. If no replacement is available at the time of return, I will have up to one year to furnish a comparable kitten/cat or I reserve the right to provide a cash refund of not more than the amount stated in paragraph 1 of this agreement. If the buyer does not return the kitten/cat in the specified time, then there will be no compensation and all guarantees will be null and void.
If the veterinarian finds signs of illness, the buyer agrees to call me and to follow diligently the veterinarian's instructions. If the kitten/cat dies from this illness while under veterinarian care, the veterinarian must certifies that the cause of death was present when the kitten/cat was delivered for compensation as stated above.
I will not be responsible for any veterinary bills for this kitten/cat after leaving my residence.
5. GENETIC GUARANTEE: This kitten/cat is guaranteed for 1 year against congenital defects except a tail fault or protruding sternum. If the kitten/cat has a congenital defect, a veterinarian must document the defect and you must send me the signed documents and may return the kitten/cat within 10 days for replacement of another kitten/cat of equal value. If no replacement is available at the time of return, I will have up to one year to furnish a comparable kitten/cat or I reserve the right to provide a cash refund of not more than the amount stated in paragraph 1 of this agreement. If the buyer does not return the kitten/cat in the specified time, then there will be no compensation and all guarantees will be null and void.
If the kitten/cat dies as a result of a congenital defect, a veterinarian must do a necropsy and provide me a signed letter detailing the cause of death. I will replace the kitten/cat with one of equal quality as available or I reserve the right to give a cash refund of not more than amount stated in paragraph 1 of this agreement. I will not be responsible for any veterinarian bills.
6. No cash refunds except as noted in the above guarantees.
Any legal action which may arise under the terms of this contract will be brought to Price County/Phillips, Wisconsin. Buyer shall be liable for any court costs and related charges including attorney's fees associated with Seller enforcing the terms of this contract. This agreement is the entire agreement between the parties.
Buyer's signature indicates full understanding and agreement to all the above terms and conditions.
